History

In 1981 Intertape Polymer Group began manufacturing tapes and films for a variety of industrial end use applications. Shortly thereafter, IPG joined forces to supply the consumer/retail market with product solutions for every day challenges in the home, on the job and out in the field.

Present

Headquartered in Montreal, Quebec and Sarasota/Bradenton, Florida, Intertape Polymer Group employs approximately 3,000 employees with operations in 19 locations, including 14 manufacturing facilities in North America and one in Europe. Intertape Polymer Group is a primary manufacturer of film, packaging and specialty tapes. In fact, Intertape produces over 2.3 Million Sq. Meters of Tape every day! Intertape offers a variety of state-of the art adhesive technologies on their masking, duct, carton sealing and specialty tape products. These products are used in numerous retail applications and provide high quality, performance and excellent value to the consumer market.
